LOCAL SELF-REVIEW · SEPTEMBER 23, 2026 · VERSION 1
Scope and integration check
This is the authoring agent’s self-review of NS-67–71. It is not an independent audit, an endorsement of publication readiness, or a proof of RH.
Mathematical checks
- The canonical divisor recurrence treats its initial slope separately. Exact cells retain the signed terms and the mixed square. The tail proof includes both the mixed remainder and its square.
- The centered Abel estimate bounds complete vectors. It does not bound the absolute integrand or exclude internal arithmetic cancellation.
- The renewal equation is causal on finite and infinite weighted domains. Its positive inverse preserves the forcing power. The critical-energy contradiction uses a genuine boundary pole and does not assert divergence of the canonical norm.
- The endpoint calculation uses optimized coefficients from complete normal equations. Its signed S₂ remainder is independently recomputed; every projected trial gain retains the old-space Schur complement.
- The cusp repair is positive definite by its complete Fourier density. The all-coefficient exclusion extends integer dilations to real ones before frequency localization. Its scope does not include a selected residual direction.
- The preconditioner only selects coefficients. Its final quotient uses the actual Gram. The 97.06% figure is a fraction of one block’s optimal gain; the actual squared-error reduction is 8.08%.
- The conditional convergence statement requires independently proved cofinal numerator and cost bounds. These inputs remain open; no finite sample is substituted for them.
Computational checks
All proof-path solves retain Arb ball enclosures. Primary calculations use 256 and 384 bits; complete Gram tails have separate doubled-cutoff checks. Canonical cells also have independent complete Gram checks. NS-71 matches its overlap with NS-69 and retains at least 88 bits of recorded accuracy. The exact checks total 137.
Two Maxima harness issues were corrected before the recorded passing runs: explicit scalar-matrix settings and a needed sign assumption for a symbolic limit. Python diagnostics are clean on all new scientific files. Floating-point scans remain separately labelled as diagnostics.
Document and provenance checks
The complete manuscript builds to 330 pages with zero undefined or duplicate references, overflow/underflow boxes, or PDF destination warnings. New-section pages 293–305 were rendered and visually reviewed. Proof fragments are included verbatim once. Incremental evidence, source hashes, runtime versions and replay results are recorded in the validation file and manifest. Earlier evidence files remain unchanged.
Disposition
No unresolved finding was identified in this local pass. Independent mathematical review remains welcome. The original uniform Weil floor, API, G2 and RH are still open. The next task is an arithmetic estimate on the actual selected direction, not a uniform kernel comparison.
